Hi everybody! Was offered a nice end of 90th Japanese strat, your opinions on these 60 reissues?
Any ideas on what color is it?
Also anybody seen these Dragonfly pickups?
Thanks a lot!

Don't quote me but I think these were made in the Tokai factory and may use the Tokai colour chart.

It looks like it could be Sherwood Green or Ocean Turquoise, and with that range of colors the monitor can change what you see a lot. I think it'll be cool in any case, and I have never met a Japanese Fender I didn't like.

The closest color there is Lake placid blue, as for me

I agree that it's hard to make categorical statements about color shades from internet photographs. But from these photos, especially the close-ups, it looks like Ice Blue Metallic to me, which was a legit custom color from the early-mid 60s period. Unless there's something really wrong with the lighting, does not look like Lake Placid Blue or Sherwood Green/Ocean Turquoise to me. I sort of see a little bit of green where the guitar has a lot of reflection from the brown flooring, but that quickly fades as it moves away from that floor reflection.
I personally like the MIJ/CIJ reissue Strats a lot. I've had several, over the last 30 years, probably the best was a late 80s '50s reissue in Sonic Blue that I lent to a friend - he loved it so much he pressed me hard to sell it to him, and still plays it to this day as his main Strat. Never tried the dragonfly pickups. But you can answer that definitively by playing the guitar.

Weird - looking at it on my laptop screen, I definitely saw Ice Blue Metallic with little to no greening on the top/back. But from my desktop downstairs, I see more green in the hue - not Sherwood, but maybe Ocean Turquoise or perhaps some greening of something like Ice Blue Metallic. CIJ with a P code is circa '99-'02, pushing 20 years old and greening is pretty common with the blue finishes. I know my old Sonic Blue MIJ reissue Strat looks pretty much like surf green at this point. So I guess I double down on "I agree that it's hard to make categorical statements about color shades from internet photographs." But I dig either shade.

By the way - there is a color code IBL (or at least it looks like) in the neck pocket, so I guess it’s Ice Blue Metallic

Ice Blue Metallic definitely does exist. Here's a MIJ '62 Custom Tele RI in Ice Blue Metallic (IBL) - https://www.tdpri.com/threads/ngd-mij-62-telecaster-ibl.342069/
Makes a nice pair with your Sonic/Daphne Blue maple neck Strat!

You can also check for stamps in the neck pocket. Maybe it's a "order made".
As I understand, when some dealer wants some small customization (like color change), you will see specific stamp.
However, it always strange for me, where it goes, and where it's not:
I have ST-57, which has ORDER stamp, but for me looks like standard ST-57: typical neck profile, sunburst body. Great guitar, but nothing special (maybe they have van zandt pickups by default, but I do not know)
Second one is my ST-54, which is definitely some specific one, because it's shell pink, not an average color, according to catalogs. And I see some strats of the same year with the same color scheme. But here is nothing any articular in pocket.

The stamp says ST62-70 and IBL
so I think its finish just yellowed a little during 20 years and so it became more green than blue
