Permalink Surfybear reverb build help!

New Topic

Hey guys, first post do be gentle! I’m building up a surfybear reverb and have hit a snag. When I first put it together it all worked absolutely fine. I then wired in a switch and mysteriously all I now get is 100% dry signal and no reverb (there’s a drop in volume as I increase the mix). I removed the switch and still the same problem. I’ve checked every connection three times, including swapping cables, and know I’ve 100% not reversed DC polarity at any point. When I tested the kit first it wasn’t screwed to the enclosure - with the fets getting so hot could I have melted them (literally played at low volume for 3minutes or less)? Reverb tank crashes as it should when tapped. I’ve removed everything except the tank from the enclosure to stop any potential unwanted grounding but to no avail. Any ideas???
