I wouldn't avoid Creamery pickups - I have their 64 Mustang pickups in my Mustang and they sound awesome. I have Curtis Novaks in my CIJ Jaguar, and they sound awesome too. |

So I've had the '65 pickups in for a couple of weeks. I didn't really properly try out the stock Squier 70s Jag pickups honestly, so I can't really compare, but I can say the '65s sound really good to me. Very classic Jag sound. |

I used to have the same guitar, I sold it because at some point I had to many models around. The CP is a beast, the only thing I didn't like were the pups, they were hotter and duller. If I still had this model I would swap them out for a AV'65 set. —https://www.facebook.com/groups/722422647891279/ |

Hi all! So.. Is there a big difference between the "Amerikansk Vintage ' 65 Single-Coil Jaguar" -pickups that came wit my Fender Road Worn 60s Jaguar, and the "AV'65 'Pure Vintage' pickup"? (I have a Novac JM-FAT on my Jazzmaster - that's good sounding stuff right there!) Tjanks! —El Firetone, |

That's the same pickup. Those are GOOD pickups, in my opinion. —Matt "tha Kat" Lentz |

+1 for the Pure Vintage Jag p-ups. Have them in my CP Jag. Totally happy with the tone even if the guitar itself makes me want to break things. |

What pickups come on the Vintera Jag? Would the AV '65 Pure Vintage be a noticeable upgrade? |

I believe that they aren’t the much-liked ‘65 Pure Vintage and I can’t say if those would be an upgrade or not, but whatever they are, they sound very good to me. — |

According to the Fender site, the Vinteras have "new vintage style pickups", so not the Pure Vintage. I just ordered a set. |
