Hello fellow surf lovers, this is your most humble host of Head's Up! with your host Carmen Ghia on Space 101 in Seattle WA, 2 hours of surf, music that is unencumbered by messy vocals, on Saturdays at 9pm. See my Facebook page of the same name for more info. Head's Up! is hosting an event that we hope will grow with the help of Surf Music lovers in this corner of the states. We have a huge surf community in Seattle and beyond. We have 11 bands playing on both Inside and outside stages, all local bands. We would love to share Seattle Surf with you, you have heard of The Boss Martians and The Delstroyers, but have you heard The Cosmic Wrays or The Evanstones? Join us on July 27th at Darrells Tavern in Shoreline WA for a full day of fun. This is one week before the SG101 Convention in Torrance California, so if you are making plans to come out to the west coast, why not come up to Seattle and help us celebrate with this inaugural event? I hope to see you here!

Badass!!! In 1991-92 I was homeless in Seattle for four months and lived in a 1970 Plymouth Valiant. I realize no one needed to know that haha.

But I’m jealous that your town gets a surf show. Who’s doing the legwork? Just curious. I want to get something like that here but include garage and psych, since those genres are also not easy to find. NO PSG Productions (New Orleans Psych Surf Garage)?

Hunter didn’t even tell me when he had The Del-Vipers come down a few months ago! We are so scattered.
