Permalink NGD: 60th Ann. Jazzmaster!

Just picked up my first Jazzmaster. A Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Classic Jazzmaster in Daphne Blue. You can find these easily in Red, Burst and Black, but the blue was a bit of a challenge. They're sold out from the bigger on-line stores.

It's hard to photograph this color also. Every time I took a pic it came out looking different. I took one pic and the guitar looked white!

It is a MIM of course, but it came fairly well set up, the finish and fit are top notch. And I love the fact that it came with a nice Fender hardshell case. Still tweaking the set up, but it sounds great! Plays great! Very happy with it.

For most Fender junkies, (like me) if you're thinking of picking one up, I think you'll be happy with it! I also like the idea of a Limited Edition model.

The headstock pic probably represents the truest representation of the actual color.

Hi GuitarMuk, That is one sweet looking JM. Congrats!

I know what you mean about trying to photograph the elusive Daphne Blue. It is a chameleon color that seems to change with location, angle of photo, time of day, and weather conditions Laughing .

Happy NGD, Mike!
I've seen it, heard it, love it!

Here's a couple more pics. No bright sun, so the colors look better.
Bound neck, block fretboard inlays, Classic Series pickups, nitro-lacquer finish. Big Razz

Thanks!

Great looking JM, congrats! Any plans to it, or will you keep it stock?

No plans to change it at this time. I'm pretty happy with the whole package. I'll play it for a while and see....
