Permalink Fender Reverb Unit Vinyl Covers For Sale

New Topic

I've had these Fender Reverb Unit covers since the early 70's, maybe earlier which have been in my garage since.

THE PRICE OF $28.00 IS FOR ONE COVER ONLY-you select the cover you want.

One is beige, made of vinyl with cotton backing and navy blue tubing. (the photo reveals brown tubing, which is my cover and not for sale-it's too old) The cover for sale looks like I never used it.

As reflected in the photo it has an opening on top, properly positioned to expose the handle. It looks great. Its custom fit and durability will protect against damage to the Tolex covering on the reverb, control knobs and grill cloth, while keeping out dust and rain and preventing sun fade.

The other cover is black vinyl outside and inside, with locking buttons under the handle. It looks like it's been used frequently, but there are absolutely no holes or tears on it.

Both of these covers fit the 6g15 brown-face/black-face Fender Tube Reverb Unit (1962-65), re-issue silver-face models made from 1976-78, and the re-issues from 1994-present.

I posted a photo of my 6g15 (61) ender Reverb Unit to show how these cover fits. The Fender Reverb Unit is not for sale and IS NOT included.

THE PRICE IS FOR ONE COVER ONLY.

Yeah, but there’s no actual price listed in your ad at all.

Is it a bolt-on string or a set-neck string?

Right or left handed? I’ve made that mistake before!

EB does not make a 14/59 set, so, as tempting as the offer might be, I gotta respectfully decline the offer.

Is the beige cover still available?

I WANT THE CREME ONE w/ the brown trim, PM me!

Howdy:

They both sold within a day after posting and as luck would have it, when I returned home from a gig in AZ I discovered my cover did not make the return trip, so, needing a replacement I asked my friend who made the originals for me a long, long time ago, if he could make me another. He replied he would but would have to see if he hand any more material

After almost two weeks he called and said he still had the same fabric, identical color and material, nylon outside and cotton inside.

I wish I kept the one I sols because the materials now cost almost more than the price I sold it for.

He made me a replacement for the cost of materials which was about $22. I told him about the interest and he related he still has the materials and if anyone wants one custom made as shown in the photo, send me a PM.

He said it takes him about an hour and a half to make so the cost is $48.00 + $5.00 shipping.

Send me a note if you want one, or as cover for your amp. He said he has about 20 yards of material, so, that is plenty to make a cover for a reverb unit or any amp.

Aw man! I would have happily returned them to you if I’d known.

Man they look and fit awesomely tho! But yeah man, sorry that happened about yours! I got them both because I’ve now got a brown and a black tank!

DT:

It is not the first time I sold something I did not need and a short time later WSU I did not because I needed it.

Fortunately my friend still had the exact material so it looks like my other covers.

I am glad they exceeded your expectations.

Fortunately the upholsterer was still in business and had the exact material that he sued to make mine, so the new one looks exactly like my other covers.

I am glad the covers exceeded your expectations. You definitely got a great deal on them and I wish I paid the same for the replacement, but, who's counting. The good thing is I get mine replaced.
