Tqi: Is it morally acceptable to use a Radial capacitor in a 1960 amp design?

synchro: TQI, morality is a huge question and capacitors a deep subject. I say do it and don't tell anyone. Smile

Tqi: Synchro, I managed to squeeze the Axial's in. Still working on how to lay them out next to the pots though.

Permalink 1962 Fender Reverb unit

New Topic

The real thing, 6G15 Fender Reverb.

Everything is original, from what I can see, except the footswitch jack which had been replaced for a RCA one in the past, and which I have now reverted back to a correct switchcraft jack.

Tank has a faded stamp, but I can see 6239. Caps are in the same date range. Tube chart is LJ (November 1962).

Leather handle, tolex, grille cloth are worn, but have nice character, and they are all original and useable as is.

Oh, and it sounds great!

1200$ OBO, + shipping to wherever you are.

This photo shows why I am selling.. I don't need two units right now. The other one is a 1961. Could be for sale too at the same price, then I would keep the 1962, as they both sound great.
