Permalink Surf electric bouzouki

Thought some of you might be interested in this instrument. It's an electric bouzouki styled after a Vox phantom. Built for me a few years ago by Pete Mallinson of Almuse Electric Mandolins. Pickups are custom wound after the Vox originals and sound great. Since I am an Irish bouzouki player in a parallel life it is in Irish tuning GDAD with Ric-style octave pairs on the lower two pairs.

That is the more normal stringing, isn't it? I wanted to try and get a Ric 12 string sound on this and it was successful.
