I didn't know that Ivan Pongracic was a university professor.
I know he is a great guitar player, but a university professor!!! Wow, just Wow!!
see here -->>

Smile Thanks, Joel. Yes, it's true, I teach economics at a small liberal arts college. I love it as much as I do playing surf guitar! It's a great job. But I think we're probably stretching SG101's 'no-politics' rule with the above video! Wink

Hope to see you at the convention!

Oh sorry, politics never entered my mind.

I just ran across you on a you tube video of the Madeira. Your lecture popped up.
Anyway, I'm truely impressed.

I want to have a serious debate about micro vs macro economics. Kidding! I've ran across that video before as well and was shocked when I saw him. Big Grin

Very Happy I'm never sure which one of these two is my "secret life". I guess when I'm among the surf crowd, it's my college job - and when with my students and other profs, it's my surf guitar pursuits! Over the past couple of years I've let the two worlds collide more and more, though. I guess the older I get, the less I care! Smile Let those streams cross...

Hey there, Ivan. In addition to playing guitar for the Royal Aces, I'm a retired history department chair...

Ha! Fantastic! Actually, I know quite a few surf music fans and players that are academics, with PhDs, it never ceases to amaze me. In fact, I'd go so far as to speculate that academics make up a much higher proportion of the surf music fans and players than they do in general society.

As a fan/student of Surf Music, I'd consider myself to be somewhat of a Reverba-tologist.

And, as a religion, a Reverbetarion. Orthodox, of course.
