New Topic
Goto Page: 1 2 Next

We're really excited to be hosting our friends The Mystery Men? here in Nashville, TN. on Friday 6/23 at The Family Wash on Main Street, downtown, east side at 9:00 P.M.
The Mystery Men? are on fire these days. As good as they are they just keep getting better with dynamic live shows, new songs and soon, new recordings so if you can make it to Music City don't miss this show.

Cheers,
Jeff

Thanks for the encouragement and well wishes.
We always have fun when our brothers from Atlanta are on the same bill.
The Aces will be three piece that night and approaching things just a little bit different (even for us) than usual.
We'll get The Mystery Men? all rev'd up and then send the agents up to Cincinnati where they will undoubtedly melt some faces the next night.
It's going to be a fun night.

Cheers,
Jeff

I thought it was the MM with the "melted faces."

ed No

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

HA! That's a fair point... but we've all seen Crazy Aces. Our faces will be melted both visually(ish) and proverbially!

Have a wonderful time! Wish I were there.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Now if only the melting were for our music and not my highly reflective hair line, LOL!

Just saw this again & still get a kick out of the notion of a "garage coffee company" Laughing

Wes,
Yes, the "Craft" age we live in, LOL.
This club used to be in a tiny location that was converted from a coin laundry. Very neighborhood, music oriented, slightly punk rock - a few years ago they moved to a more trendy location, acquired a "chef" to reinvent the menu and merged with a local Coffee company. The place is much bigger and I'm sure does better business for themselves but it's a change that has left some of their regulars a little ruffled.
The crazy thing is that the interior decor is almost exactly the same so that while on stage you feel like you're playing the old joint only bigger.
Really hoping to get some folks out to see the Mystery Men?, spread the word on our friends from Atlanta.

Cheers,
Jeff

I plan to be there this time. I missed the Crazy Aces last time because I had to sail a boat to the Bahamas. The Family Wash is just a short drive from Mt. Juliet where I live. I'm looking forward to hearing you guys and hopefully we'll get a chance to say hello.

Hi Jeff, I wish I could be there to see the Crazy Aces and the Mystery Men?, but at least I got to see the MM? last weekend with the Blair-Pongracic Band. They were fantastic. Here's a taste to whet the appetite.

I can't wait to see my good friends Crazy Aces perform, they are probably the most underrated instrumental group in the world, and sweethearts to boot!
