Permalink Introducing... Zak and the Krakens!

New Topic

Greetings people of the surface!

I'm very hapy to announce our new, Copenhagen-based surf band, Zak and the Krakens. We just went public with our first release, ...kraken' surf classics, containing covers of classic and soon-to-be-classic surf songs.

Those first recordings aimed to get the band tight and warmed up, hopefully help us get some gigs. We are working on original material and we're planning a vinyl release in due time.

You can listen to and download the album for free at our BandCamp page. And you can also find us on facebook.

Hope you enjoy Smile

Surf's up!

Thanks Brian, glad you liked it! When we play Cruel sea live I play both the lead and the "reply" parts, it can be quite frustrating. In the recording I was able to play both parts propery and pan them nicely Smile
