@jobeast - yes Brett Brubaker is awesome, he rewound one of my 60's DeArmond Rowe pickups and NAILED it. Too bad Brubaker doesn't make pickups

My Rocket has an aftermarket Bigsby (good) and ABS Tuneamatic bridge (not so good) which I eventually replaced with an aluminum Compton bridge. This really brought the guitar to life in the last year I had it.
Hope the person who has it now is actually a player...

It's always surprised that those "old" STRAIGHT (acoustic) bridges actually sounded any good, especially with a wiggle stick. But, acoustics seem to have worked fine all these years (ha,ha)!

Squink Out!

Fantastic all the way around. Great pic, great gear. Thanks for sharing.

He basically made mine because the only thing still original of those joke Kawai things are the chrome cases (which look cool) . He put new bobbins and everything in them sent them back to me with the useless old pickups that I think I used for fridge magnets.

Eastwood sells a reproduction, billed as an Airline H78, but the web site text does mention Harmony and Silvertone.

Fast Cars & Loud Guitars!

HEATHKIT™ also sold those Harmony/Airline H78's, in red-burst as I recall, at the same time with their solid-state guitar amp kits.
