Heh, those were good times but those days are pretty foggy for me as well.

Any of you groovy cats in here have any experience with "Kent" brand maple snares? A guy here where I live is selling a Pearl Free Floater with a 1967 Kent maple shell as the insert. Gonna check it out this week sometime, but I am hoping for a little insight before hand. —Gear:Kit:Pearl Reference series in Emerald Fade,Pearl rack,Pearl Demon Drive pedals,Tama Iron Cobra hi-hat stand, Sabian & UFiP cymbals. |

Kent drums were originally made in NY and legend says that the company was started by former Gretsch employees. They were more within the "low end" realm although they made some nice drums. The hardware wasn't great and they had foul badges that didn't hold up well. —Shawn Martin |
