I’ve thought of using an S1 switch.

Google Gilmore Strat mod. It basically keeps the neck or the bridge (your pick) on at all times giving you seven total pickup options including neck + bridge and all three pickups at once. I installed a push pull pot to do the duties while keeping a stock look. Also not a huge fan of the neck + middle combo so I moved the middle rwrp pickup to the bridge for hum canceling in the neck + bridge and middle + bridge positions. Lots of great guitars, but my 1957 Stratocaster fills the bill perfectly for me; it has a a tremolo, 3 pick-ups with 5 selections, and that signature "Fender"sound. Mine has a Wilkinson "Convertable" tremolo, which locks in place when you release the whammy bar, so it always stays in tune, plus you can do climbs and dives. It also stays in tune if you break a string. I have Graphtec nut ans Sperzel tuners which also help it stay in tune. My middle pick-up is reverse polarity, reverse wound so when used with the neck or bridge pickups, it acts like a humbucker. I shielded the inside of the cavity with copper foil, used shielded coax for all the audio connections, so that eliminatd the single coil hum it used to have. |

Johnny Marr Jaguar takes it for me. It has the right feel and the right sound. The lower output pickups work well for fuzz too. Last edited: Jun 19, 2024 07:29:40 |

A new one, my first Jazzmaster and definitely my new main surf guitar... Vintera II 50's Jazzmaster with pearl pickguard, Tele knobs, Mustang bridge and American string guide After I'm done paying it off I'd like to get an AVRI trem, AVRI '62 pickups and a Staytrem or Mastery bridge Last edited: Jul 07, 2024 17:50:15 |

My current favorite for everything: 2023 MIJ Late 60s Traditional Jaguar with PV65 pickups (as the stock were unwaxed and prone to feed back), Staytrem Arm and Bridge and all new „Wronski“ style 3 way slide switch (no modification of any kind needed. Fits right into the cavity. I looked for one of those plates seemingly for ever… but Eyguitarmusic has them now (no affilation). —TENTACULA: Garage-Psych-Heavy-Surf-Rock |
