Yes, it has humbuckers. It's the HB DLX version, with a push/pull tone knob. — |

The issue is that it is just people posting the guitars they own... The thread should say "What do you use to play surf music?". |

Oh what the hey. I vote for my 1990 Dano Hodad in Commie Red (5th from the left). Tuned to drop C it is heavy on tone and style. No trem arm but anytime I hit an open E (which with the tuning is C) I can swing it and get AMAZING vibrato effects. Best bass: My 1990 Dano Longhorn in classic copperburst (not pictured). —Da Vinci Flinglestein, The Syndicate of Surf on YouTube |

Did someone already post one of those wacky shark guitars? (if someone already did, then well here one of them is again). I think if you own one of these you pretty much have to play an ocean related song, and hopefully smash it at the end. |

With the Hang-Ten Hangmen, I use my Oly White Jeff Beck Strat w/ Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coils. Surf music I play outside of that band would bring in these Classic Players. I bought both retail...the JM in autumn 2015 and the Jag in spring 2016. I ordered a set of Fender Pure Vintage '65s for the Jag. Lorne |
