I'm sorry to report Victor, but that image was confirmed a fake It's a bummer though, you would think the two had crossed paths somewhere along the line. psychonaut wrote: — Paul |

I came across these and found them really interesting and fun - thought some Bowie fans may appreciate them as well! Nile Rodgers is a blast! What a great guy. I can see why everybody wanted to work with him - you know, in addition to his IMMENSE talent! I recently watched the doc "Five Years" on Bowie, too, and it's so fantastic. In there Rodgers talks about how "Let's Dance" was really a black album - all the musicians were black (well, obviously not SRV, but he was more a guest, an add-on) and they recorded the way black musicians did at that time: very fast, no wasting of the budget, get it done, next. I HIGHLY recommend the documentary for anybody with even fleeting interest in Bowie! —Ivan |

Hey Ivan, The Five Years documentary is indeed great. I got to see it shortly after Bowie's death. The demonstration of turning Bowie's version of Let's Dance to the version we all know was interesting. I am going to see Nile Rogers this summer, and am so excited! Rev —Canadian Surf |
