Ivo,
I haven't seen a single surf show all year, and not for lack of trying. None of the bands you mentioned advertise in any venue that I can find, again, not for lack of trying.
It's so kind of you to provide a list of bands who don't seem to play in Chicago much if at all and accuse me of being a freeloader supporting theft. Happy holidays!
BTW, I bought your record at the con in OC last summer, you ingrate.

No future shows listed.

But Victor, c'mon, who's got the time to keep up with all the Chicago surf shows when there is all that socio-economic tiradin' to be done on SG101! Really....

Hi there,
been a while. The Wraybands haven't played since December 2014
Not broken up, but just not giging anymore.
Here's a link to some video from that gig

Roger&The Wraybands

Thanks for sharing, esp. Prof. P for the indulgence extended. Google searches for "Chicago Surf" etc. returned no usable results over many iterations. More the pity that Saturday night shows in towns far away are not possible because of my work. And lastly, most of the bands listed above gig so infrequently it's difficult to even learn of their existence from a place like Joilet 40 miles out of the city.
I will try to track the leads proffered. Please put the snark to rest. This is not a place to act like a tough guy.

Can it, Prof P.
Your consistent meanness is unbecoming to the forum and deserves disciplining.

JOBeast, you put your socio-economic tirades to rest (at least on SG101) and I'll do the same with my snark. Deal?

Tirades is a strong word that implies illegitimacy. As derogatory but less viciously snarky term might be 'maunderings'.
Agreed, I will not maunder here, nor shall you snark.

Squink Out!

Thumbs Up Peace. Cheers

I'd love to put the Aquanauts back together but I don't think that's happening anytime soon.
Some of the best times I had in recent years playing surf music was with Roger and the Wraybands. Awesome band!
