Hey, gang -- my band The Mondellos (http://themondellos.com) is doing a shot up the East Coast from Florida to NYC in June, and there's a coupla shaky dates in there. Anybody know of any dives/juice joints/pizza parlors they can recommend to play at for the following target dates?
June 13 -- Atlanta, GA
June 14 -- Baltimore, MD or Washington, DC
We're a duo, so we don't take up a whole lotta stage space and aren't too gawdawful loud... We're happy to play for beer or pass a hat, considering this being a kinda last-minute development...
Anyway, if anyone has any tips, I'd sure be obliged!
Thanks!

We (lifeguard knifefight) are based in Baltimore, there are a few other DC / Baltimore area surf bands, maybe we could put together a three or four band bill in Baltimore?

That'd be fantastic! Like I said, pretty much anything'd be cool by us (and only one of us drinks, so we wouldn't be too hard on a bar tab!). Lemme know whatcha can find out!
Thanks!

June 13th a possibility in Atlanta. Two things come immediately to mind. Clarkston GA Womens Club venue (the site of Surf Fest). We could work up a quick several band show with The Surge!, The AcoustaSonics, and or StratoGeezer. A second possibility is there is an open Mic night at the Red Light Cafe here where a two piece would do great. I'll check in with the bands here and the Clarkston Promoter, Stand by...........eddie k

Either of those sounds boss, though I worry about whether we'd be too loud for the open mic -- if that ain't an issue, great!
Thanks!
