Oh almost Forgot, the Fender Stratocaster is donated by SG101 forum member Colt Surf, aka Paul
Thanks sooooo much as always Paul

Will you sell tickets at any of the shows leading up to the convention? I plan to make a couple of those but will most likely have to miss the convention.

Hadn't thought of that, maybe
Sorry your going to miss the big show.

Got 3 emails so far.
Come on people, we need some help this year.
Added cost of the venue is a hurdle we need to take care of.

Tom and I always buy 10 or so tickets for the guitar raffles, at the show.

This year will be no exception.

I'm thinking about spending a lot of money on tickets ... cool Strat, thanks to Colt Surf, met him last year and he is a nice guy.

When you have to shoot ... shoot! Don't talk.

Paul(colt surf) is the best. A real nice guy, and a true giver.

First, big Kudos to Paul; what a gesture!

Second, by all means folks, please feel free to drop all your tickets on the Strat.... just kidding. But that Eastwood is just cool looking.

Obviously the raffle guitars always take the center stage at the Surf Guitar 101 Conventions, however, keep in mind that there are many other wonderful prizes that can be won by purchasing raffle tickets! And rest assured, the odds are definitely in your favor! There are so many items available, chances are extremely good that you'll go home with at least one item! (just ask josh-e-boy, who seems to win everything! ;) )

This year, we are proud to offer the following prizes in addition to the guitars...

This is NOT another solid state reverb! This is emulation of the 6G15 with analog FET technology using the same topology and principles as the original.
Basically, the tubes in the schematic are replaced with JFETS/MOSFETs and the output transformer with a current source. The circuit is all Class A, is optimized for a tube-like harmonic content and is using a standard 12V DC power supply adapter.

This beautiful new, R4 version of the revolutionary and critically acclaimed Surfy Bear FET Reverb kit was handed over in person by Bjorn at the Surfer Joe Summer Festival in June and hand-carried back to the USA for your raffle!

The incredibly supportive folks over at our favorite workhorse flatwound string manufacturer D'Addario are back with us again this year and have an amazing accessory bundle up for grabs! Just check out what's included in the package!

  • 5 sets of XL Chromes Flat Wound Guitar Strings, 12-52
  • Black D'Addario Logo High Quality T-Shirt (L or XL)
  • NS Micro Headstock Tuner
  • Planet Waves American Stage Instrument Cable
  • Black Seat Belt Guitar Strap
  • Set of Pacato Full Frequency Earplugs
  • Untreated Polish Cloth
  • Pack of 10 Standard Black Heavy Celluloid Picks

Over $150 retail value!

A discreet Guitar Preamplifer based on the RE301's input preamp, couple this with your favorite echo or delay and you've got the dynamics and tone colors of the 301's gritchy punch. Loaded with the best components ( silver mica and metal film caps, vishay sprague electrolytics, 22 gauge bonded copper strand wiring,, xicon metal film resistors in the audio path, socketed Opamp, w/ all flying leads to full size Alpha pots and switchcraft jacks w/ hardwire true bypass.

Over $185 retail value!

- CDS from Green Cookie Records
- CDs from Dionysus Records
- CDs from MuSick Records
- CDs from Double Crown Records
- CDs and other swag from all the bands playing the 2015 Convention
- Clothing from The Surf King Surfwear
- DVDs and T-Shirts from Reverb Junkies Film
- A $50 Gift Certificate to Caveman Vintage Music

Yes! What he said.
See that's why you are my word man.

So the raffle tix are $10 for the Eastwood, $20 for the Fender, is there an "Everything else" raffle, or tix separate for each item? How much for these?

Great prizes, awesome job to all the sponsors and especially Colt Surf.

lots of groovy stuff i'll be buying tickets for.... so someone else can win them

Everything else raffle tickets in the past shows are $3, 3 for $5.
There are many prizes including cds, t shirts, dvds
Winners are picked between band sets.

Thx Dave.

Tavo pedal raffle tix is 5 dollars.
Tix for cds, t-shirts etc is 2 dollars each or 3 tix for 5 dollars.

Jeff, just to clarify, does the "etc" include the Surfy Bear?
