Hi Tikitena and Brian,

You are right, we even look alike.
He is very talented.

Abdel

Not that music is about being 'better' than someone else.... But I much prefer your playing, Abdel. You have nice touch and timing.

I agree! With that being said, I chose to post "Gonzales" because I thought it was one of best ones, not to mention I just love that tune anyway. As a matter of fact, my favorite tunes that the Huntington Cads did was this very one on the An Evening in Nivram CD.

Ha, Yoram, that's an Israeli name. Abdel adds a lot of his own touch to the songs, this guy is good, but mostly does straight covers. I think they both use the same camera man, though ;)

I did Brian, I posted 3 or 4 tunes.

I would like to express here my appreciation.

It's a privilege to be part of this Surf family.
I feel I have been adopted by this genuine community even though my music is not exactly Surf music, but I am being influenced by the music of all the superb bands I have seen since Jeff Hanson first introduced me to the community where they all care for each other and share their
thoughts through this superb website (Congratulations Brian).
I have known several wonderful beings which are now like friends.
I am also glad that my music is appreciated and it's a privilege to
have it heard. I look forward to playing more for you just like I did
last summer in London in front of the prestigious members of the
Shadows, Bruce Welch, Jet Harris, Brian Bennett, Brian Licorice,
Alan Jones and the members of that other superb community: The
community of the Shadows fans.
Thank you all, keep up the good music and above all the great friendship.

Blessings to all,
Abdel

Hope to see you at many more surf shows this Summer and in the
Future.

I checked it out, cool stuff abdel.

also checked out the pics on your website. WOW, when were those taken and where - thos look really cool, kinda remind me of the pics form indo-rock in the netherlands, esp. the sepia-ish black and white and the kind of guitars and amps. what's the story?

For WR and all,

I posted new pictures of Shadowmania 2006 I took with Bruce Welch, Jet Harris and Brian Bennett.
I played at the Friday social and my version of FBI was well received. After my performance,
Jet Harris stood up and said to the audience: "from now on, that's the way I want FBI to be played, enough of dum da dum da dum da dum" (referring to the original bridge part which I totally transformed in my version).

Hope you find them interesting,
