Awesome news! CD and 7", or just one format?

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Vinyl only and a limited pressing of 500 copies. I guess it'll also be available as a digital download. I heard from Sean that United Record Pressing is swamped with orders due to the upcoming Record Store Day so the EP might not be out until early May.

Sounds great!
btw, I love the artwork, it seems fit perfectly with what I can hear from the video!

The Hydrosonics (RIP)

Yeah, the sleeve artwork is great and was done by boss artist Mike Guerrero who also happens to be one of the guitar players in the Thunderchiefs. And in case anyone was wondering about the "This Time Tomorrow" song title, the Le Mans 24h footage in the video should explain it. Also notice how Miki Dora almost wipes out because of the rolling "Coming Soon" text clipping his legs, haha. Toes on the nose!

Test pressings and sleeves are on the way to Double Crown HQ. There's a very, very outside chance we may have these in time for Record Store Day, but it's more likely to be available late April/early May.

Ok, so we ran into some issues with this release, causing a delay in production. We are now back on track, and in a few weeks we'll actually have records to put in the sleeves (pictured above).

We didn't want you to wait any longer to listen to these great new tunes by The Surfites and The Thunderchiefs, so we are moving forward with the digital release. It should be available for digital download via iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby in the next 2-3 days or so.

The 7" release will not have a download code, so unless you want to do the transfer from vinyl to MP3 yourself, the only way to get a digital version of this release is via iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby (other digital services, like my personal fave, Emusic.com, will have it as well).

Man I really like The Thunderchief's sound! I'll probably wait for the hard-copy as well though.

METEOR IV on reverbnation

Bought and downloaded mine through CD Baby yesterday, absolutely awesome stuff!! Really dig the Astronauts vibe that Hot Dog on a Stick has, really really kool.
