I'm selling my original White Sands Electric Instrument Company Orange Sunshine Fuzz. This one is number 42, which has been written on the inside of the pedal (see photo below). I got this many years ago in it's current road worn condition. I still love how worn it looks (very Sonic Youth). It's a really great pedal, however in the last ten years, I've played it less then five times. Therefore I have decided to sell it. I hate selling pedals, as they're my weakness. I love collecting them. However I'm currently upgrading my studio equipment and I want to pay to further my career, so this is to be sold to help me with these goals. I'm asking £150 ono. I live in the UK but will send this worldwide. Contact me for an exact price to your location. I accept PayPal as long as you pay the fees or send me a personal payment (fees don't apply with this method).
Aprox Postage:
UK £5.30
US/Canada £7.80
Europe £5.80
Aisa/Australia £8.20
If you're looking at this you know how collectable, rare and great these pedals are. The original Orange Sunshine (this one) is a late 70s/early 80s pedal, built by Traci Sands (now of Bad Cat amps), and is essentially a clone of the old Vox V816 Distortion Booster plug in unit. It is a really smooth fuzz, like the smoothest fuzz face you've ever heard. Here's a pretty nice demo of a slightly later version:

These are very sensitive to your picking attack and volume control. This is a no frills hand-wired fuzz distortion pedal made in the USA in Sunset Beach, CA and operates on one 9V battery.
