Hi,
michele from italy....
My 66 showman and Stratocaster self-build a friend of mine great guitarist build this for me... ( MJT body - Allparts neck - CS 54' pickups - all electric Fender CS )3.2kg
The small cabinet is an 1x12 self-build with a Jensen C12K
I've 66's tone ring cabinet but is too heavy and to big to use on stage. I change the speaker ( old speaker is an broken bass eminence speaker ) with an JBL E130 .... the D130F is too expensive for me...

Pretty much my rig, sonically. I only own the Jazzmaster and reverb, thinking of buying the Jag(although I own an identical one and two other jags...).
Anyways, only posting this for gear porn purposes.

Jack, you cheesy son of a gun! I love the Bass VI and think that it is a great Surf instrument.

Oops, I forgot to mention that I bought a MIJ Bass VI a few months ago. I absolutely love it. I intend to put a set of flat wounds on it soon. At $56 per set, for LaBellas, I have to plan carefully.

As this is "Main Rig" the guitars honestly filter about. The only thing constant about my main rig the past six years has been the Super Reverb and a Reverb Unit.

That was my rig in the studio, two Super Reverbs in stereo. Reverb tank on one of them, onboard reverb on the other.

It will be the last set you buy for 5-10 years! I put way more than $10/annually on my guitars!

It's dazzling looking at all the sweet gear in this thread. Still, I must post my blurry little pic of my baby. This is the one that replaced my first guitar a glorious Sears Silvertone purchased from my sister's boyfriend for $30 back in 1971. He'd painted it up in 60's psycho-colors and eyeballs. Loaned it to a store front preacher and never saw it again.
Decades later I bought this. Don't ask what I paid to replace it but let's just say it was a bit more than $30. And I did get the built-in amp in case. Still and always my favorite.

Music to my ears. I know that the Thomastiks I use on my guitars seem to last forever.

I'm great! I hope things are good for y'all.
They are a unique and versatile instrument. They really get under your skin. Including the Fender Jaguar Baritone Custom that I owned about 10 years ago, this is my third 6 stringer.

My current setup at the new house. Reissue Deluxe, Reissue Blackface Reverb Unit, 96 Japanese Jazzmaster (heavily modded of course), and some pedals including my Nocturne Atomic Brain I won last year's SG101 Convention!
