Here is how to embed videos, using YouTube as the example source.
Find your video, click the "share" button, then copy the link that appears:
YouTube
Come back to SG101 and look below the "Submit" button in the new post or new topic screen:
SG101-1
Click the "Attach a video" link. Then paste in the link from YouTube and click attach.
SG101-2
You can then continue editing your post text. Hit the post/topic "Submit" button as before.

You can also attach videos from vimeo.com.
The link you need to grab is the same link as the video page. For example, here is WE HAVE SIGNAL (Man or Astro-Man?):

Note that if the YouTube publisher sets permissions to not allow embedding, you will get an error when trying to embed it here - something to the effect of:
"Oops, an error occurred. error - Sorry, we could not retrieve your video (HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized)".
An easy way to tell is if the original YouTube poster has disabled embedding - you click the Embed button (just right of item #2 in Brian's first screen shot), you will see a message that says "Embedding disabled by request". If you see that, you won't be able to make it show up in your post here, but you can still link to it for readers to view over on the YouTube site.

Yeah this must be new behavior. Google is now using https instead of http in its "share" links. Give me a day or two and I can fix that. In the mean time, just change the https to http in the share link like UKAY54 suggested.

Is there a way to put text after a video? For example if I want to list a few videos and comment on each one.
Also - can we embed audio files? Rather than link to the SG101 file.
