In an ongoing attempt to have more of a comprehensive knowledge of what's out there recordings-wise, how about a KFJC surf-related discography?
And, I'm talking "official" commercial releases here, not all the Reverb Archives stuff.
Here's what I've been able to account for thus far:

I'll see what I can figure out from the KFJC library. I will try to sort out which recordings were just put together for station use by Phil Dirt. But someone will remember which ones were actually made available to the public.

Very happy to say, I have all of those above.
thanks to Phil Dirt, KFJC staff, Cousin Mary, Ferenc, and all of the bands involved donating their music over the years.
Is the Surf Coasters live cd taken from the KFJC recordings, or was that from a show in Japan?

Jeff, there are a few live cuts from KFJC on a couple surf Coaters CDs, but I think they are on the Japanese releases only.
The Pyronauts released a "Live from the Pit" CD and 1/2 of Pollo Del Mar's "Year of the Rooster" was recorded in the pit.

I came across this thread while looking for an image for the 2004 surf battle CD. Adding a few more CD's that have come out since the last post:
2013 (The Sixth) Battle of the Surf Bands (CD/DVD)
If 2013 was the sixth battle, I only count three earlier battles with CDs (2004, 2006, the fifth was 2011.) The fourth battle was in 2009. The seventh battle was in 2016. Do people remember when the missing surf battle was and if there a CD made it or the fourth?

Thanks, Darren. Now there are two more available now - Surf Battle VII and
KFJC Live From 2016 Surfer Joe Summer Festival - both from 2016. They were due to come out last year, but a number of delays (some our fault at KFJC, some in production) meant a very long delay.
