Caught the recently released Evil Dead remake and thought it was very good fun. Won't replace the original, but better than any of the other current horror remakes. Saw a trailer for a film called, The Conjuring, which looks like a promising supernatural thriller and a new Seth Rogen and Co. apocalyptic comedy that looks to be pretty damn funny. — |

The last time The Beach Boys performed together as Brian, Dennis, Carl, Mike and Al. They sound great!
According to the intro, they all hadn't performed together for a while, and they never did again. Carl gives a wonderful tribute to Brian for all the music. Completely random chance seeing this come on Cinémoi (Directv) this evening. Pretty interesting stuff. 30 second preview and the whole thing below. Just got done watching Bikini Beach. The "bar" band for this one are The Pyramids bald heads and all. The Exciters also did a number or two. (didn't see the whole thing) The big finish, though, is The Pyramids backing Little Stevie Wonder. unbelievably bad movie with great tunes from 1964. |
