To add to what Bob said: The wrinkling that people mention is caused by spraying lacquer over enamel, un-catalyzed acrylic enamel or applying the lacquer in thick heavy coats. Catalyzed paints as a whole are not re-coat sensitive. Lacquer needs to be applied wet as to avoid dry spots. Experience will be the teacher for that. One of the many problems that people have is what's called: fisheyes. You can't touch what you are going to paint with skin that has any natural oils on it. You can use disposable gloves but it is wise to wipe down all surfaces with a paint related cleaner before applying the next finish.
