I couldn't leave the house for too long, so I drove from San Diego, saw the surprise, Dave's intro, John Blair, Marty T and Doug's set, The Boardwalkers set and then drove back home. I decided I couldn't be a no-show on Mart's 50th, especialy since my good friend Jeff was organizing the festivities. As previously said by others, what I saw was very good, but I was really moved by Jeff, Tina and Billy's work to make our good friend Marty happy. Thanks to all the bands that contributed their performance to this event. Ran — |

Sadly, people were only video recording little snippets here and there. Not whole performances. I think my mom got one song by each band. Jeff(bigtikidude) —Jeff(bigtikidude) |

Damn, I knew I should have cancelled our show that day. It was a bust anyways. Looks like you (BTD) could have stumbled on to hosting some more Surf-a-Polooza's in the future? (nudge, nudge) Anyways, Looks like it was a great time. Sorry I couldn't attend -RT |

Hello, Well I feel sorry for anyone who missed the party...it was fantastic! Tiki Tena, Jeff Big Tiki Dude and the bands all did a fantastic job! Hours and hours of sweet live reverb.. what more could a Guy ask for? I do have some video I filled 3 tapes. I am not sure where or how to upload the video. I can easily get it from my camera and edit them. I can save them in Quicktime format. Any suggestions? |

Convert them to mp4 (mpeg4) and then upload some clips to YouTube! —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

Hello, I uploaded one test video to YouTube. Could some of you chec it out to make sure it is working for you. It seems to work for me, but then again i made it. Anyway it is The Detonators & Dave Wronski playing Miserlou. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUgq_443yus Let me know if the quality is good. I recorder almost the whole show even though I am crappy camera man. You know blurry, shaky and to dim. |

WOW! I just watched the vid on YouTube. Amazing!! ...and yet another reason I shouldn't be living in Portland! (Dr. Evil Voice: "It's frickin freezing up here, Mr. Bigglesworth!") Super huge kudos to Mr. Big Tiki Dude! Nicely done. Marty's lucky to have a bud like you. Happy B-Day Marty! Steve |
