I'd like to enter this drawing. I do already have a copy of the CD, but I can always find a deserving soul for another. Anything that takes the oldest mechanically recorded song and delivers it fresh to tomorrow is worth having two copies of anyway. I barely notice today, let alone tomorrow, but I predict this CD will be listened to for a long time. |

Wow the samples over at cdbaby are amazing. I haven't heard surf melodies this dynamic since the 90s 3rd wave. Here I thought the current wave would be dominated by trad surf bands (not that there's anything wrong with that, since I love them too), but this sounds like the perfect mix of traditional surf and surf coasting out on the edges of possibility. I'd love to be in the running to win the album, but if I don't win, I will definitely buy this album! — |
