On June 30 I had a PET Scan on the one-year anniversary of my stem cell transplant. A biopsy confirmed It failed and my cancer is back. One of the "friends" it brought along has kept me from having the necessary stability to go downstairs to play guitar since March 26. I'm meeting with my hematology oncologist on July 26 to discuss how soon I start Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. I'll let you know the results as soon as I do and when I start playing guitar again.
I thought you should know and I sincerely thank you all for your support.

Hi Noel, I and I'm sure many here are sorry to hear of your ongoing fight with cancer. Best of luck with the new therapy and hope it leads to a speedy recovery, so you can start rocking out again.

Hi, Noel,
As Danny mentioned, I am another one of those long-time Surf Music friends and fans of yours. I also hope that the new therapy that you will be undergoing, will have a positive outcome.
I am not overtrly religious, but I do keep a nightly prayer list of close freinds and family that are undergoing difficult times. I have added you to that prayer list, hoping that it will help with your recovery.

Noel, you are one Tuff Son of a Bitch. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Cancer don't stand no chance against a positive outlook. I'm thinking good thoughts and hoping you get back to playing guitar soon. Kick - it's - Ass.

Noel, I can come up with only one thing to say: best wishes for the future. I have a friend who is fighting multiple myeloma. I have a basic understanding of what's going on, nothing else. Never hurts to be lucky. If I can be of any help, let me know.
