I'll likely be relocating to the San Diego area from north of LA. Either North County around Carlsbad or near Torrey Pines or Kearny Mesa, depending on which job I end up in.

I've checked out the surf, awesome, and the cycling looks great as well. So 2 of my 3 addictions are covered.

What's the surf music scene like and what is the best way to hook up with other players and/or a band looking for an old guy who plays a wicked surf rhythm guitar?
