I think many of us look back at the artists from the early 60's with a sense of real appreciation for what they gave us with their music. I hope Ferenc, Karen, Danny, Ryan and all the rest realize that 50 years from now people will be watching these videos with the same appreciation and just maybe some amazement at how great their music is.. Nice work.... |

Excellent perspective! The generational view. This is precisely why I loved seeing the legends perform plus then gentlemen like Paul Johnson and John Blair diggin on the Space Cossacks...their early work and their mission are in good hands! In the coming years, a new generation of Surf rockers will be the envy of all of us today. No doubt we shall say to them the same thing making it all worthwhile. "You know, it's in good hands!" And who knows, maybe Ivan or Ferenc will be in _their _audience BW Dave |

This is just amazing!! It was such a thrill to hear them playing this song in San Diego for the first time. Danny completely rips it up on lead guitar, plays with such confidence and authority that he must make Phantom Frank VERY proud indeed! Great job, guys!
Oh man, I love, love, LOVE this!!! I'm so grateful, SO GRATEFUL, that Zanti got this on tape! It was truly an honor to be able to join this wonderful band full of even more wonderful people for this song all three nights. And I personally think we played it the best at this very show. the Magyara video does sound sweet: the unison guitar leads / trading leads sort of reminds me of classic Blue Oyster Cult... and that's a good thing in my book! Nice work! |
