What a great podcast, Danny and Adrienne! Thank you very much for doing it and for playing the Cossacks (and the nice words, too).
I remember you guys talking about the Reigning Monarchs some time ago, but I didnt'check them out then. However, after hearing these two ttracks, I went to their website and have been listening to their album. Really cool stuff! Definitely not trad, but I like their approach a lot. I find myself wishing that they laid the ska influence on even a bit more thickly, though! But it's a very creative album, and really well done. It's funny to think it was done by a minor celebrity. He's clearly got a great love of this music. Anyway, thanks for spreading the word about the Reigning Monarchs, a very cool find!

I agree with Ivan about the Reigning Monarchs , I really dig ska too and this is good stuff. some spy influences there too but altogether a nice different approach.

appreciate it a lot.
as for the Reigning Monarchs, I saw them a few weeks back at the Doll Hut in Anaheim, they were opening for, and did a Split 45, with Larime Dean.
I liked them alot, and bought the 45, and the cd from them.
a friend of mine pointed out that yes you can download the music for free, from the website, but there is also a donation button you can click on.
so be nice, and give the band some money.

Ahhhhh... the next episode of the SG101 podcast 
A few spins on it already yesterday & this morning - already made my weekend (even if it does bum me out a tad knowing I won't be at the convention.) Always a great collage of Instro/Surf. Some tracks familiar and some new to me. A real treat every time!
Another big round of applause (!) for Lady Reverb, Danny and everyone making these possible. Thanks to all the bands allowing the tracks to be shared and whatnot too!

OH SHOOT! A total oversight, somehow I must have deleted their songs on my list early on and didn't catch it.  We'll have to make up for that next podcast. I did the same thing with the Reventlos last year - early onset old-timers disease

The podcast has had some surgery performed on it and the outcome was successful. Danny managed to graft on the missing Insect Surfers tracks. See the revised track list, above in the first post. Thanks Danny!
