I think it's been done one other time - by the guys that are now in the Volcanos. The CD was titled "B-Movie Brain", and I think it dates back to the early '90s or so: http://www.instromania.net/D2/ALB/ALB_B/Div%20comp%20-%20B-Movie%20Brain.php
Ivan thanks for pointing this out for me.I was going to say something to Klas, but I didn't want to burst the bubble.Looking forward to the album Klas!

I wasn't familiar with that album and stand corrected. Still an interesting concept that would be great to see more of from other bands.
Thanks again everyone!

So Klas, who's the blond guy that's always overjoyed to be playing in any of the bands, and who's the brown hair guy always plotting something evil?
The snippets sound cool, I'll put that on my wish list.

Klas, very cool concept for an album... just like Gary Usher with the different band names. Way back, Garrett and I wanted to do that same idea, but you beat us to it!! Big thumbs up!

Cool that you guys had the same idea! I've had the concept in mind for years as well and now felt that the time was right to put it all together. I think the concept really makes for an interesting album, especially due to the four different instro styles in our case. Makes the album really varied although I think one can still tell that it's us behind it all.

Yes, only 3 songs by the Royal Vikings. I wouldn't have guessed you'd be that into them since they are more of an R&B type of instrumental band, including pretty dry guitars and all.

I was just being Silly Klas, as I am about 85% Norwegian, and some people say I look like a Viking.
but its all good.
I prefer Reverb, but good tunes and playing speaks for itself.

Yes, the new bands are all side projects to the Surfites and consists of me and my brother Jack (notice how the cartoons are the same two guys but with different styles). Some or all of these side projects might very well get their own releases in the future meaning they are not just a part of the concept for this album.
Thanks everyone!
Based on the clips in the video I hope each of these side projects gets their own release.
