My name is Roman Popov. I live in Russia.

I would like you to hear it and tell me your opinion about them.

Welcome Roman! Those are very good, you've definitely captured the spirit of the era. For all of you fans of 50's style instro pop guitar music I recommend visiting his myspace page.

They do sound authentic.

Roman, did you play all the instruments yourself for the recording?

I'm not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing.

No, no, only on a guitar.
Melodies has record with sessional musicians.

Nyet = no. Was once married to a Russian. Her favorite word was "nyet" followed with "you drinking again" Laughing

But getting back on topic, I visited Popov's myspace and listened to each song as I surfed the net. I'll be back...........

Cool guys. I think, that our music will iteresting for english-speaking people. But in our country this music bothered for a many people.

Sorry for my english :-[

Popov,
Hey, I liked the 'Tsunami' song! The saxophone really adds to the song. The piano helps too. I have never heard surf music from Russia before. I have never had anyone from Russia comment on my music, perhaps you could be the first. Here is a link to a tune of mine (it got radio play in USA and Mexico):
