I have that issue that is on the page when you click on the link,
very cool mag.

It was discussed here or on the Yahoo group when it came out.

I have never seen the early issues of it, but I hear they are to die for.

do you have it Kyle?

I have that issue too. It's a really good read.

"It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea

Not only is it a good read, but it's full of vintage pictures and advertising. I highly recommend it.

Plus it has Tiki and Exotica stuff in it,
I about fell over when I saw the mag in person,
a must have.

Get it. Wink
The early issues are near impossible to find except on ebay for lots of dough. The the third edition came out in 1989, and this is the 4th, so don't hold your breath for number 5. I have number 2, which is all about the Beach Boys Smile album. It can be said that this magazine (book) was the first step in the over 20 year journey of the completion (well, sort of) of the album. Dominic Priore was also one of the first to praise Pet Sounds and Brian Wilson back when it was an uncool record you'd see in thrift store bins. Now every indie hipster has to list it as one of their top three albums. Thanks(?) Very Happy
He also has a blog that's always worth checking"

Yeah, I actually asked Domenic if they had any plans for a #5 and he didn't even answer the question Laughing

I think most people will enjoy #4 the most and it appears to still be available from their site:

Last Time I spoke to Dominic he said he had a few hundred.
and that was about a year ago,
I bet he still has some.

His surf music show Volcanic Action on Luxuriamusic.com is great and compliments his writings nicely.
