Happy New Year Pollo fans!
Hope you all weathered the first round of storms
without damage.
Pollo Del Mar kicks of the new year this Thursday,
January 10 at Fat City (the old Transmission Theater)
in San Francisco. We were asked to play a psychedelic
heavy set so we will be pulling out all the mind
benders. Jeremy Rexford is in town and on the drums!
Hope to see you there!
Thanks,
Los Pollos

Aww man. I would love to see this. Of course, it's the week after my winter break.
I'm sure it'll be an awesome show, as I agree with bigtikidude about the psychedelic stuff. Them Pollos are first rate mind benders when they choose to be.

Did anyone end up seeing this? Precisely how much butt did PDM kick?

Since no one else from SG101 was there to contradict me, I can politely say that there was a small but enthusiastic crowd. The show was one of the worst organized events I had ever seen. The guy (child?) who had organized it was, in his words, "An artist, not a manager". No one will disagree with him. We did have fun playing an all psyche set.

A minimalist, perhaps?
That's a downer to hear. I still wish I could have been there, though.

Man, I REALLY wanted to see that show. I love PDM's psychedelic stuff.
I had the queen mother of all flu bugs that night.
I was running to the bathroom every ten minutes. Damn!!!!!
