This song deserves more attention. 'Put Your Finger In The Socket' is off the 1995 Man or Astro-Man? album 'Intravenous Television Continuum'.
The original song has single note lines & power chords. I changed it up a bit using more chords. MoAM guitarist is an agressive player, I'm not so I'm learning as I go along.
I've been playing Surf guitar for only a month so pardon my sloppy timing. Using a vibrato arm is hard. Nice and hard.

Nice. They're not touring Europe, sadly.

Nice! MoAM is most likely my favorite group.

haha this is def one of their best albums, and one of the best songs on that album. this band is son incredibly underrated.
saw them in LA in 97' around the time they were touring for this album. I think it was at the Palace (now "the avalon"), and it was insane! met star crunch out front and thought i could die happy at the time HAH!
a lot of us into the punk scene followed these guys religiously. they were so aggressive compared to the surf scene at the time.

CORRECTION: Project Infinity is the GoAT of surf albums and man or astr-man's best IMHO. This track was on that album originally.
This album is hard to come by streaming. You can listen here:

Such a great track off one of my favorite albums by them. I find the Destroy All Astromen Comp to have most of my favorites by them #1 being Mouthful of Exhaust

Did you know they rereleased it (early 00’s perhaps) with some new material?
