I sold my old SurfyBear Metal in order to partially finance buying the Classic…. absolutely worth it. It sounds amazing plugged into my Fender Rumble 100 playing a G&L Comanche Tribute. It definitely colors the sound a bit but honestly it adds to the character. Time to save up for a SurfyTrem! Top

I built a Classic from a kit and I'm not thrilled by how much it affects the tone - decidedly less volume and less high end. I know that's what the original Fender units do as well but I'm thinking of splitting the dry and wet signals into two separate knobs for that reason. Top

It certainly colors the sound… it warms up the tone a bit. But that’s fine because my guitars have a lot of bright bite to begin with and could use more tonal taming Top
