Permalink Looking For More Songs Like This, HELP????

New Topic

Hello all,
I’m looking for more songs like this, with the spaghetti western/what I call “gallop”, but pretty intense, like this:

https://youtu.be/5HVNtV8bTCU

Or this, at the 1:42 mark……

https://youtu.be/5_uFTJ-fpy4

I’m sure there’s plenty more, so throw some recommendations at me…

TIA

Welcome Jaymz, start with this old thread - tons to go through.

Thanks but I’ve already gone through that thread, amongst others with “spaghetti western” in the search feature……There wasn’t many at all mentioned on that thread, or any other thread for that matter……I was hoping I could find some songs with that particular beat that weren’t mentioned elsewhere on this site. I just love that beat lol

Federale is all about that. The train beat.

Oh, and of course there's always Iron Maiden.

Good stuff and thank you, especially that Federale….but I guess I should’ve clarified I was wanting instrumentals.

Have you tried Sweden's Five Outsiders? The whole album 'On the Run' is excellent

THAT’S what I’m talking about!, love that….

I recorded a Spaghetti Western album titled "El Camino de los Muertos" that features some of what your looking for.

The album link is: https://reverbranch.bandcamp.com/album/el-camino-de-los-muertos

Songs with the snare gallop are:
Theme from El Camino de los Muertos
Carrera con el Diablo

Check out the whole album if you have the time.

I'm not sure if you found the rest of their stuff. The Hellbenders featuring members of the great surf band The Volcanos.

I'm always amazed at when they tackled Morricone's The Big Gundown.

Good song!

"You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been"

I'm guessing you're talking specifically about that galloping beat, not surf spaghetti western stuff. I'm just combing through recent spaghetti western playlists.

The Routes - Pistolero, Showroom Dummies
Blackball Bandits - Tema del Pistolero
Barbacoa - Shadowcaster
Trabants - El Charro
The Zipheads - Accendino!
Red Guitars - Pasta la vista
Stories from Shamehill - El Corazon Del Gato Gris
Mary Ann Hawkins - 7.23 to El Paso, Night Hawk
Federale - White Cloud
Ted Boys Marinos - Back to the Old West
The Shadows - Apache lol

Hopefully I got one in there!

Storm Surge of Reverb: Surf & Instro Radio

Not a surf band, but Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives do some killer songs of this ilk. "Mojave" is my favorite.
