Actually I’ve sold Oceans 11 and a got SurfyBear Compact for a “guitar gigbag pocket pedal”. I love it even more than my Classic for live gigs.

Since my last post in this thread, I bought a used SurfyBear Compact back in May 2021. It's a mainstay on my pedalboard. It sounds just as awesome as my two SurfyBear Classics (one has a Drip Switch and the other has a Surfy Drip for bypass function).

I love the the 2 Mixer controls and bypass functions on the SurfyBear Compact.

I still have my E-H Oceans 11 for it's variety of Reverb tonal options.

Thanks! The photo is a bit older - I've swapped out the E-H Canyon Delay for my old MXR Carbon Copy. I've tried others (E-H Canyon, Keely Caverns) but I gravitate back to the Carbon Copy. I put the E-H Canyon on my bass pedalboard and Keely Caverns is on my smaller (travel) pedalboard since it is a reverb and delay pedal.

The Digitech Trio+ is a lot fun! Cool

I've recently gotten a Surfy Bear metal and it gives me the sound I've been chasing. Previously I used a Fender Tre-Verb and then for a long time just straight into a Deluxe Reverb Tone Master.

Once I got the Surfy Bear, there was no doubt about it, I got that perfect drip sound. Does that Astronauts sound perfectly.

I actually prefer the reliability of the a newer unit like a Surfy Bear, over a tube based vintage or re-issue just from a practical standpoint. I've never owned a Fender tank, but being in a NYC based band...the less I can travel with the better.

I own a SurfyBear compact, and also an Oceans 11. No doubt the SurfyBear is better/more authentic, but in my opinion the Oceans 11 is the best digital reverb pedal on the market for "drip."

At last they are both with me, getting it from Ukraine is not easy! Love them both and will not be able to choose.

Hi,
I tried a lot of spring reverb emulation pedals, including the Oceans. The best sounding if the Surfybear by far, then the Strymon BlueSky.
