Amp warmed up, but reverb unit just barely wet. Turn on the standby switch, wait 5 minutes and it really wet, but cuts off after about 20 seconds.
UPDATE 7/5/22 - BLEW FUSE, SHOULD BE 4A SLO BLO 125V. IS IT SAFE TO USE 4A SLO BLO 250V. I'M GETTING MIXED RESPONSES ON INTERNET RESEARCH.

Could be the reverb driver or reverb recovery tube, but I must add that the worst reverb problem I ever had turned out to be the cables to and from the reverb pan.

I had this sort of problem with an early 70s Twin. I had to get a new pan and replace the cables to the pan. If I had to do it again, I would buy a SurfyPan.

Yeah, I checked the cables and they look good, but that is what I'm thinking I'll try next.
I don’t know when you Twin was made, but I know that the cables on my ‘68 CDR looked just fine, but they were the root cause of enough trouble that I seriously considered blowing it out at a significant loss, just to get rid of it. I had taken it to a respected amp repairman on several occasions, and everything tested good. Just as we were both about to give up, he played a hunch and gave the reverb cables a shake while I played. The problem was, immediately obvious. In this case, Fender saw fit to scrimp on the cost of the reverb cables, and a perfectly serviceable amplifier was rendered useless because of their misguided attempt to save a nickel.
It’s not my purpose to insist that this explains your problem, but the diagnostic technique required is not all that strenuous, and it’s an easily overlooked problem. The poor quality of the cables only showed up at volume, when the vibration of the amp made them intermittent. YMMV.

Thanks Synchro and all.
I took amp apart (I'm not the tech type), cleaned and reseated tubes, sprayed cleaner into pots as best I could (stupid circuit board instead of point to point) jiggled wires, etc. no luck. Reverb stayed at low volume.
So I plugged in Surfy Bear and it sounded okay, then my power level just suddenly dropped. She's been in storage for about 6-7 years, so I guess it's time for a tech. There are just so few here and everyone is always a month or more with stuff.
I was hoping to resurrect her for the new cd we're working on. Don't think there will be time. Anyway, thanks all!

It sounds like this could run a bit deeper, in that case. Let’s hope it turns out to be simple, and inexpensive.

What happens when you turn the reverb on and off? Is the normal channel working without any problems?

I wouldn’t. If you blew a tube, and blew a fuse, it’s time to find an amp tech.

Gotcha, but still want to have a replacement fuse. Not working on it anymore.
I doubt that it would matter, because the current (amps) are what will determine when the fuse blows, but I would still find fuses that are to spec. As long as you are using US power, you will be getting 120 VAC out of the outlet, and no more, but I’d still try to find a 125v fuse.

definitely tech time. agreed with synchro on the fuse.
however with the power tube, too high voltage can burn through the screens and screen resistors on power tubes, so there may be an additional issue in the power section to find. since your fuse needs a large amount of current to blow, the tube can certainly go before the fuse does.
since it’s been in storage for 6-7 years, and depending on the age of the amp, I’d take a solid look at the filter cap section, and any other electrolytics in the amp.

Thanks, I took a week off to work on the cd and everything is going to crap. Appreciate your input.

That’s a bummer. Maybe you can find someone to do a quick repair.

Lots of unknowns on this one. It makes me wonder, because my own Twin is rarely used, these days.
