RJ Ronquillo's version of The Man Who Sold the World - Latin Surf style

It's a lot of layering triads (and sometimes 7ths) under the melody lines, and harmonizing in 3rds. He also makes use of a diminished chord substitution that is commonly used in jazz. Basically, if you're playing a dominant 7th chord (like, say, A7), you can just shift the root note up one half step to make a diminished chord. So instead of A C# E G, you'd have A# C# E G. You can then take that shape and slide it up or down a minor 3rd and it will be the same chord in a different inversion (same notes, slightly different order). It's a good way to give movement and drama to otherwise stagnant sections. That should be 5th fret 2nd string, not 3rd. Anyway, thanks for turning me on to RJ Ronquillo.
