I suggest leaving off the tremolo though, or use it sporadically. Like the tremolo except in a few parts where it gets busy (agree with Danny-use in certain parts of song to create mood). What did you mix this on? I could clearly hear all the parts which was nice. Art Hi Art, Nothing fancy really, I use Cubase 7 stock plugins and something else depending on the song, especially reverbs,Lexicon PCM or a spring reverb because I record electric guitars with a POD HD and I don't like its effects. I use band in a box real drum tracks which help, the downside is that they come all in one track but sound nicer and more realistic(are real recorded drums)than midi VSTs. I've just finished another song, I really don't spend much time on my mixes except if is an "important" release for someone else. I used a Telecaster for this song, in "The Spanish Surfer", I used a matching headstock surf green Strat like the one in your avatar but with rosewood fretboard. I do a lot of stock projects at home on Sonar, but I have yet to post them with any confidence. Drum tracks are usually spliced and sound un-natural. I'll have to check out Band in a Box!
