The Cruel Sea

The Cruel Sea is pretty demanding in chorus part. I am still not sure make it properly)

Must agree with Samurai, “Cruel Sea” is not for beginners, the chorus is really hard to pull off. Especially if you play it at the Ventures Live ‘65 tempo.

Samurai, I'm sorry to cause you any discomfort. I have seen your strong guitar skills on Youtube video.

You can bet that many of the Surf pioneers in the sixties knew Rebel Rouser.

Thanks man! That’s ok) but these fast arpeggios are not my strong part.

The first song I learned was Apache. Not strictly surf, but Apache introduced me to several surf guitar techniques in that one song. You'll learn slides, bends, tremolo picking, and palm muting. And besides being an awesome song, it has a lot of space between the notes and various parts, perfect first song to learn on electric guitar.
