If you're talking about post-1963 Ventures music, you won't be able to duplicate their sound without a Mosrite or Mosrite clone, no matter what other gear you use in conjunction with your Jaguar.

I like the Electro-Harmonix Glove for overdrive, but it's the only overdrive I've ever tried. EHX makes a few overdrives. This video compares 5 of them, along with a few other brands. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs_Vkw3st3U

The Surfy Bear Blossom Point may be what you're looking for. It gets that fat Brownface Fender tone. https://www.surfyindustries.com/blossompoint

What you probably want is an original Mosrite Fuzzrite.
Good news - they are still to be had.
Bad news - They can run you well over $1,000.00 or close to it.
You'll also need a Mosrite guitar. (an original 60s model is definitely NOT cheap today). Fenders are fine and they appear on a lot of Ventures albums -
But
If you're looking for the "Ventures in Space", "Go with the Ventures", etc. guitar sound, then you'll need the Mosrite guitar and Mosrite Fuzzrite. Sling all this into a Showman amp.
Best modern equivalent I've heard that may be more $$$ friendly today is a Hallmark Mosrite guitar and Hallmark's NU-FUZZ pedal.
Hope this helps

The Catalinbread Fuzzrite might be more affordable option.
