I found these necklace guitar demo files on my laptop recently. I don't remember where I got them from originally.

Cool. Had never heard of these reverb units before. That video just about made me seasick though. |

They used the necklace reverb tanks in some Hammond speakers way back when they made the speakers. I don't think anyone makes the necklace tanks any more. Accutronics, etc. still make the smaller straight tanks as you may know. I read somewhere that 2 spring Gibbs tanks are preferred for surf music, too. |

That Hammond oil spring reverb sounded great. I wonder; where could such a thing be obtained? —The artist formerly known as: Synchro When Surf Guitar is outlawed only outlaws will play Surf Guitar. |

That was a great article, Ariel. I’d love to have one of those oil spring reverbs, and it was great to hear about the history behind them. —The artist formerly known as: Synchro When Surf Guitar is outlawed only outlaws will play Surf Guitar. |

Trying A Weird Vintage Spring Speaker Reverb that i've never seen before. Check out US patent 2768235. This is basically the same type of thing. |
