Permalink I met the Hiwatters Band in San Francisco

I was in San Francisco with my wife Joanna over the Labor Day weekend for a family wedding. In between wedding festivities we were able to ride the cable cars and see the sights.

On Sunday afternoon, we were at Cioppino's restaurant on Fisherman's Wharf for lunch. When we came out, I heard some reverby guitar down the street. The surf band The Hiwatters were playing an open air gig.

I got a chance to talk surf music with them on their break. Great group of guys. What a groovy way to end our trip!
