Permalink EHX C9 Organ Machine

I wanted to play some organ solos on my guitar, so I bought an Electro-Harmonix C9 Organ Machine pedal. I was surprised at how many cool organ sounds it produces.

The "Telstar" setting emulates the clavioline used by the Tornados on Telstar. Very cool sound.

The settings on EHX pedals can be complex, though. I'm trying to duplicate the Musitron sound used on Del Shannon's "Runaway." The Musitron was an adaption of the clavioline producing a cleaner, less warbley sound.

Any suggestions for settings? Thanks in advance!

The Compact setting will get you closest - I own a Farfisa Compact Duo and while not the same, the wheezy sound works OK. Add some reverb and it should do. Definitely fun pedals and love that there's no real lag vs. synth drivers (and having to add the MIDI pickup)
