Hi there guys!
Got some new music out there. This one ended up like some kind of Progressive Surf Rock.

I tried to catch that good ol’ feeling you get when you are being chased by hungry cannibals through the jungle.

Would love to hear what you guys think!

Dude this is awesome! So much to like here. Keeping the clean tone, getting kinda black metal-ey in the middle, and a wonderfully original composition. Nice work!

Thanks for the kind word! Smile

WOW!!!
That is a room full of energy!
Not what I would call traditional Surf music.
But damn, I enjoyed it.
Nice twists and turns.
Great finish.

Good stuff! I really like the tone of the bass guitar. Pocket city!

Nice! And I like the spaghetti western flavor in the middle part.

All your songs are great.
Keep up the great work.

Thanks again for the kind words, guys!
For the break I was actually aiming for a spaghetti western feel over a typical black metal chord progression, so DeathTide and edwardsand you are both correct Smile

I'm a returning surf enthusiast (temporarily side tracked by covers bands)and am amazed and delighted at the quality of new material out there these days. One question, at approximately 1.00 to 1.20 there is a call and response part, is that double tracked or am I simply hearing some sort of stereo effect happening?

Thank you! Yes, the guitars are double tracked. In the whole song, actually.

Ok, thanks for that. Can anybody recommend a pedal that would achieve the double tracked effect? I have seen the tc mimiq available at Andertons here in the UK for just £30, would that be suitable?

That looks like a really cool pedal. Haven't seen that before, but I guess that will do the job. Or maybe some sort of slap back delay.

I own the stereo version of that pedal and it's worth 100% of the asking price. The mono version is worthless.

I've used it to thicken up a rhythm track and it works amazingly well. Unless you have a stereo rig, using it live is not recommended.

Ah, that's really useful to know. I am definitely in mono. I have an MXR Carbon Copy, looks like that will do the same job, £30 saved, thank you.
